At the beginning of the 90’s when this great housing development was built, many architects had one thing in mind when designing homes: that a medium sized family would be able to live comfortably in them. It is for this reason that houses from the 90’s have that special “something”, which is that cosy house feeling that’ll be sure to make its new family in love with it.
The first thing that catches the eye when accessing this complex is its private street. A quiet semi-pedestrian street that can only be accessed by the neighbours themselves. This tranquil street connects each of the houses with the spectacular community pool.
The house that we present here is number 1, the first one to be found when arriving to the estate. A very private corner house with just a single neighbour.
The design using straight lines and taking advantage of spaces, gives the impression of even more room within the house.
– The ground floor is destined to be used as the day area and consists of a large living room of more than 30m2 and has direct access to the garden. It has a 15m2 kitchen/diner with room for a table (the perfect family place!) a laundry room, a toilet and private parking with space for a car, motorcycles and bicycles.
– The first floor is meant to be used as the night area and consists of 3 double bedrooms (with fitted wardrobes) and 2 bathrooms. One of them is a suite of almost 25m2, with a bathroom, dressing room and terrace.
– In the attic we find an open studio (in reality there are 2 (13m2 and 8m2), divided by a staircase), a full bathroom and another double bedroom. How they lived before!
To this day, houses with the same distribution are still being built – if it works, why change it!
What we like most about this house is the combination between the private garden and common areas. Being the corner house, the garden is set out spectacularly, it even has a covered terrace that is sure to become your summer dining room.
Even the private passage that joins the house with the common areas comes in useful: the perfect private bike circuit or play area for the little ones!
In addition, there are more perfect little touches such as: a fireplace, gas heating, aluminium windows with double glazing, freshly painted walls, a new kitchen with kitchen countertop.
If this wasn’t enough, its owners have made sure the house has been looked after since it has been put on sale: It has been painted completely white (white modernizes and increases the feeling of space!), the kitchen furniture has been changed, LED lighting has been installed, all blinds, door handles and original elements have been thoroughly checked – all of this makes for a lovely set-up! We can already imagine it with modern furniture….
