Caldes d’Estrac is the embodiment of the Catalan saying, “in the small pot you’ll find the good jam.” Despite having the uniqueness of being the smallest extension in all of Catalonia, with just 0.74 km2, it enjoys a privileged location at the foot of the sea, offering magical attractions such as its thermal baths which date back to the 19th century.
Today we present a mediaeval house located in one of the most cheerful and beautiful streets of Caldetes. This beautiful house has maintained the colourful essence of houses from past times, while boasting a large garden – something very difficult to find in other houses in the area.
Situated in a well located area, it‘s just 100 metres from the train station as well as the beach – a luxury for lovers of sea views which can be enjoyed throughout the day. As well as this, there’s enough space to relax or take a wander outside, with just 4 steps.
The house was reformed a few years ago and changes were made throughout the property, at the same time keeping hold of its original charm.
The house is divided into 3 floors:
The first, formerly a bar, can be perfectly converted into a master suite, being that it comes with a complete bathroom and large open spaces.
Going upstairs we find a large living room with a spacious open kitchen and pantry, leading onto the lovely garden of the house.
On the top floor we can find two double bedrooms and a bathroom.
In addition, it has underfloor heating, wooden beamed ceilings, wooden window frames with double glazing and beautiful Catalan tuff floor.
