House in Arenys de Mar

Housing a few minutes from the best coves and beaches of the Maresme, very close to the port of Arenys de Mar, surrounded by a garden and pleasant views, provided with home automation.
The plot borders to the north with a public road in front of a large forest and to the south with a green area accessible from the upper street, thus, there is a differentiated accessibility, both to the garden on the ground floor and to the basement floor through the main access, both rolled towards the interior of the garage for three cars, as a pedestrian towards an office with possible independent use.

Towards the main entrance of the house on the ground floor we go through an external white stone staircase, in a landscaped and tree-lined route that contrasts harmoniously with the volume of the building.
The balance between form and matter, between textures and exploded views of stone and wood, allows us to dialogue with the space.
The house is designed as a large white box that hides storage areas and opens to connect with nature and enjoy it.
Led into the lobby, we enjoy the same interior materials and views of the south-facing garden. The white stone continues to surround common and service areas. The warmth of the whole is provided by the solid wood flooring and the sliding latticework of wooden slats, balancing the coldness of the stone and the large white lacquered surfaces that surround interior doors and built-in wardrobes.

In the lobby appears, as an almost sculptural element, and of great dimensions, a white painted metal and wood staircase in a harmonious game of sensations, of visual axes, of double and triple spaces bathed in light and openings towards the garden, the landscape and the sky itself.
This space is the link between floors but also the organizing center of the entire program on the Ground Floor, between day and night areas. In this way, on one side are the dining room, kitchen and pantry, accessible through a double circulation and arranged between two exterior environments; the lookout porch to the east and the main garden with barbecue area, solarium and swimming pool to the southwest.
The transparency of the interior allows us to enjoy lighting and sun at any time of the day. The night area on this level houses two double bedrooms, each with an independent exit to the garden, and a full bathroom.

The First Floor distributes the main night area of ​​the house with a complete suite and another double bedroom with its own bathroom.
On this floor we find a large terrace from which you can see the sea, accessible from the upper distributor, linked to the hall, from which we contemplate the sunrise.

The entire house, as well as the interior and exterior furniture, are designed by the architects and have been integrated into the architecture without detracting from the whole, providing expression and comfort to a project that was born in 2005 and that, year after year, has been growing in harmony and in relation to the needs of its inhabitants, in a natural environment, 30 minutes from the center of Barcelona.
